Crafted over 2 weeks, each teak frame is hand-sawn, sanded, and assembled. The base is hand-woven with rattan, and the legs are sanded to ensure the stool is perfectly level. Finally, it’s finished with a light hand-applied varnish.

Description

The Zara Bar Stool is crafted by hand using a strong rattan blend, chosen for its durability and shape-holding structure. Each cord is tightly wrapped around a solid teak frame by skilled artisans using traditional techniques. Once complete, the stool is lightly varnished to seal and protect the surface. Unlike natural fibres, this blend won’t sag or discolour over time, making it ideal for busy homes. Every stool is a balance of modern practicality and traditional craft, built to be lived with and appreciated for years.

Each piece is crafted from sustainable, FLEGT-licensed teak, hand-varnished to enhance its natural beauty and durability. The seat and backrest feature handwoven, premium rattan-style material, woven in signature patterns for comfort and a distinctive look that is resistant to mould and discolouration.
