Meticulously handmade by craftsmen in Bali, each stool is crafted from responsibly harvested, sustainable solid teak. Aged for at least 40 years to prevent cracking and warping, the timber reveals a rich, deep grain that is beautifully highlighted with a natural lacquer finish. The seat and backrest feature a dual-layered, twisted rattan blend that is eco-friendly, moisture-resistant, stain-resistant, and designed to flex gently for prolonged comfort. From start to finish, every piece is individually created by a single master artisan in a small workshop over a two week period, showcasing true dedication to traditional craft.

Handcrafted For Beautiful Kitchens

Our latest batch was built by Hari (pictured) in the Jaya Indah workshop on the southern coast of Bali, where he has worked teak and rattan for years. Your piece is one of 40 from this batch. Built and woven over two weeks, then carefully packed and shipped by container to our UK warehouse, a journey of roughly six weeks by sea.
