Handcrafted in Bali by a small team of skilled artisans, our Surya Wilted Rattan Lamp Shade is made from Natural sun-dried rattan. Crafted over 10 days, each shade is made using rattan dried in the sun for 7 days. The rattan is carefully woven around an inner metal frame in the pattern you see, secured with a rattan loop, and lightly sprayed with a protective sealant.

I bought the two lamp shades to replace the existing ones, which look good (think of the Japanese tea whisker) but kept falling apart every time you accidentally touch them. I still wanted something that would work well with my vaguely Japanese-esthetic bedroom design and was thrilled to come across The Bali Concept. The lampshades are stunning. I just need to get the beautiful cords to match now! The delivery was quick
I have a few similar rattan lamp shades that I bought from B&M / Ikea etc, and can honestly say that the difference in quality is noticeable. You can really see and feel the difference - it's a quality piece. Well worth the money and looks so good in my bedroom. The Bali Concept kept me up to date with delivery too which was a really lovely touch.

We offer a 30-day return policy for peace of mind. If it’s not quite right, no problem — as long as it’s unused and in original condition, we’ll happily accept the return. Just get in touch and we’ll sort it with you.
