Each Luma Rattan Dining Chair begins with a solid teak frame, cut, shaped, and assembled by hand before being carefully arched to form the backrest. Once the structure is complete, the seat and back are finished with a handwoven rattan blend, applied slowly to ensure even tension and long-term durability. Every stage is carried out in small batches, allowing time and attention to remain part of the process.

The woven rattan is chosen for how it behaves in daily use. It flexes naturally as you sit, offering comfort without the need for cushioning, while remaining resilient and easy to maintain. Over time, both the rattan and teak develop a deeper character, wearing in rather than wearing out.
