Crafted in Bali, Indonesia by our artisan partners using solid teak that's matured, kiln-dried, then hand-sanded smooth. It's finished with a natural lacquer that enhances the wood's subtle grain, then layered with a dual, handwoven rattan blend for the seat and backrest. This material is chosen for its subtle flex, which allows for prolonged comfort, and its water and stain resistant properties, which mean it will stay looking new for longer and won't bleach in the sunlight. Each piece takes over two weeks to make from start to finish, reflected in the exquisite quality of the final piece.
