Senara Leather Armchair

Shaped entirely by hand in small batches of 15, the Zara Teak and Rattan Armchair is made in Bali, where this style of chair is found in villas and restaurants across the island. Its laid-back seat angle is designed for the relaxed living, offering a comfort level that ordinary chairs cannot match. A solid kiln dried teak frame provides strength and longevity, while the handwoven rattan seat and backrest flex naturally to support the body. Every piece carries subtle variations that make it unique, crafted not for display but for daily life, comfortable, enduring, and unmistakably Balinese in spirit.

Crafted over 2 weeks, each teak frame is hand-sawn, sanded, and assembled. The base and backrest are hand-woven with rattan, and the legs are sanded to ensure the chair is perfectly level. Finally, it’s finished with a light hand-applied varnish.
