The Raka Rattan Bar Stool begins with a solid teak frame, cut, shaped, and assembled by hand to create a stable and balanced structure. The design incorporates a defined back rail that offers subtle support while keeping the overall form clean and restrained. Once the frame is complete, the seat is finished with a woven rattan blend, applied carefully to achieve even tension and long-term durability. The rattan is chosen for how it performs in daily use. It flexes gently as you sit, offering comfort without padding while remaining resilient and easy to care for. Over time, both the rattan and teak develop a deeper character, wearing in naturally rather than showing signs of fatigue. Designed as a rattan bar stool for kitchen counters and bars, Raka balances structure with visual lightness. Its proportions allow it to sit comfortably at a counter while remaining easy to live with in everyday spaces.

Gorgeous, One-of-a-Kind Stools & Exceptional Customer Service

Absolutely beautiful stools, they feel really special and one of a kind. The solid wood is gorgeous, they’re sturdy, comfortable and feel very expensive, and they work perfectly with all the other natural materials in our room.

Customer service was exceptional too. One stool needed replacing and it was all sorted over WhatsApp and exchanged within days.

I would buy from The Bali Concept again without hesitation! Proper craftsmanship and a lovely company to deal with.
