The frame begins with kiln-dried teak, sawn, shaped, and assembled by skilled artisans to create a strong foundation. The legs are carefully measured and sanded so the chair sits perfectly balanced on any floor.

Once the frame is complete, the seat and backrest are handwoven with a durable rattan blend, chosen for its strength and gentle flexibility. Each cord is wrapped with precise tension to form a supportive weave that resists sagging, mould, and discolouration, while giving just enough natural flex for comfort.

To finish, the teak is lightly varnished by hand, enhancing its warm grain and adding a layer of protection that ensures the chair remains a long-lasting part of your home. Thanks to the way it is made, the materials won’t crack or fade in sunlight, making the Zara Rattan Chair suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, reading corners, or even bright garden rooms where natural light is abundant.
